El gancho se hace en 5 del guía, ppniendo su pie derecho haciabatrás, mientras se mantiene la mano izquierda dl guia tocando a la mano derecha de la persona guiada, haciendo.un giro horario por debajo de la mano izquierda del guia, y acabando con un di que no.

Se hace en solo ocho tiempos. Se hace un careo en posición cerrada, y el guia acaba pasando por debajo del brazo derecho de la persona guiada, para acsbar haciendo un giro antihorario en 7. 
Nota: el guía, en 4, pone el pie derecho por delante del izquierdo y no por detras. Se ha de hacer con pasos cortos y rápidos para poder acabar en 8 tiempos.
